Biker and Baker
This Salida brunch, lunch and dinner restaurant has an awesome rooftop balcony view that can't be beat. But even the inside second-story main restaurant floor has a great view. They are one fo the only places in Salida that offer a brunch (which is delicious!), fresh bakery goods also available to-go, and a lighter charcuterie fare, gourmet creative desserts and good looking-bar menu by night.
Blue Coyote Ranch
Breathe in the peace and tranquility of the Rockies. This locally-owned and operated boutique hotel property is located on 33 acres of Rocky Mountain bliss - only 2 miles from historic downtown Salida.
Monarch Mountain
Monarch Mountain is where to go for skiing, showboarding, and summer-fun incuding mountainbiking within a 20 minute drive from Salida, Colorado. Offering day and season passes, CAT access, a tubing park, gondola by summer, with dining and lodging on premises.
Salida Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce is located on HWy 50 in Salida and is right next to the Salida Aquatic Center. They host several fun annual events and their lobby is chock full of information for visitors to figure out what to do with their time in the region. Sterling & Steel
Sterling and Steel is our sister business where we offer couples an immersive experience to make their own wedding rings. Past clients have traveled across the country and around the world to attend our workshops, which we take pride and honor in. It's a memory you'll never forget. We also create and sell custom one of a kind flatware, candlesticks, and jewelry, on the site's Online Store.
Sweetie's Sandwich Shop
Owned by the same duo as The Biker and Baker, Sweeties Sandwich Shop is on the first floor of the building downtown and is a hot spot to order a delicious fresh baked sandwich togo or dine-in, grab some artisan chips. Check out the dessert case because it's stocked to the gills with sweet bars, large cookies, and if its a lucky day you might catch one of the baker-owner's large cupcakes which have a huge mound of buttercream frosting on top.
Salida Pharmacy and Fountain
You read that right - its a Pharmacy and its an old fashioned Soda Fountain shop a block from us on F Street. Hand crafted ice cream and homemade toppings, sundaes, floats, fresh made waffle cones, and they actually have a pretty cute gift shop along the side wall too.
High Side Bar & Grill
High Side Bar & Grill is an awesome place to see free live music every Friday and Saturday in Salida. They have a quite large back patio offering Arkansas River views. People watch, dog watch, whitewater rafter and kayak watch, listen to music, have a great meal and a drink if you like. It's an all around great place to frequent and they are take-out friendly too.
Fun Street Family Arcade
This is a great old school arcade. Stop in and just let the good times roll! Good classic variety of games to include video games, pinball, pool, skiball, etc. Also a great place to have kid's birthday parties. They allow the place to be completely rented out though so its helpful to check out their hours the week/day of on Google to make sure they are still open to the public.
50 Burger Salida
50 Burger is located on Highway 50 and is a great family friendly place to catch a quick burger. Walk up and order your food at the counter and they walk it out to you. Their ingredients are quality and their shakes are mighty. A great local craft beer selection at the bar too.
Vacation Rental Townhouse in Salida
This airbnb is a townhouse in the busy heart of Salida. Walk to the great restaurants, galleries, parks, and the river. It is quiet with a large, private, fenced backyard. It is newly renovated, maintaining old world charm. Enjoy comfort and beauty!
